Frontline Wellness: Yoga for Care Providers
This evidence based workshop is designed to give care providers the tools to cultivate capacity and skillful resilience. Join with others who understand what it is to work on the frontlines of care every day, whether in a clinic, hospital, shelter, program, or hospice. Experience the support of a compassionate group setting while you learn to nurture yourself with unconditional self-care. Yoga is the ideal modality through which to explore wellness. The teachings and practice of yoga work on the mind and on the body while you learn to follow your own innate wisdom on the wellness path that best serves you.
Whether you have been working in your chosen field for years or are just starting out, this workshop will provide you with practical tools to increase your energy, find your authentic center, cherish your relationships with loved ones and improve your overall well being while bringing your best self to care for those you serve.

Frontline Wellness is an evidence-based transformative workshop is designed specifically for front line care providers who face burn-out, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma. These are three silent killers that go mostly un-recognized in our personal lives and under-reported in our workplaces. Yoga teaches us to cultivate capacity and to face life's challenges with greater ease. I worked for years as a victim's advocate, and yoga allowed me to rejuvenate my mind, my body, and my emotions when I faced burnout. Yoga kept me resilient and able to be fully present with each person I served.
As a care provider you know just how rewarding it is to work in the helping professions. You also know how challenging it is. Frontline Wellness is a program specifically designed to meet the challenges you face, so that you are able to thrive personally and enjoy the rewards of your work.
Each Frontline Wellness module/session teaches a specific yoga wellness tool including breath interventions, meditation, mindfulness breaks, Yoga Nidra's dynamic relaxation and the transformative practices of compassion and gratitude. You will learn techniques to calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Yoga teaches us to accommodate life’s challenges with more ease.
